Action continues to attract value-seeking shoppers

Action Q1 net sales surged 14% YoY to EUR4 billion, with LFL sales up 3.6%, as average weekly customer numbers increased 12.4% to 22.2 million. CEO Hajir Hajji said shoppers remained careful with spending and the discounter had reduced almost 1,000 prices. Action opened 33 outlets in Q1, taking its estate to 3,335 stores across 15 countries. It said it remained on track to add at least 400 European outlets in 2026 and planned to enter Slovenia in September. (Action)
