Dutch non-food discount retailer Action has opened its 250th Italian outlet in Bari, five years after entering the market. The chain now operates across 12 Italian regions and employs more than 6,000 people nationally. Action said it serves an average 21.6 million customers weekly across Europe, offering around 6,000 products in 14 categories. Italy remains part of the retailer’s rapid European store expansion strategy. (Action)
