Spanish grocery retailer Alcampo will invest EUR3.8 million in more than 560,000 electronic shelf labels across 84 supermarkets during 2026. The rollout, using Hanshow labels and HL Display systems, is expected to eliminate 1,843 km of paper strips annually, avoid 8.4 tonnes of CO2-equivalent emissions and save more than 42,750 staff hours. The technology will cover ambient, fresh and frozen categories. (Alcampo)
