Aldi Süd makes dramatic overhaul of regional entities
Aldi Süd said it is advancing centralisation plans by reducing its 24 regional companies to 12 independently operated entities. The German discount retailer said the move would streamline administration across the business, with each regional company currently having its own management structure and managing director. The restructuring will result in job cuts, although no figures were provided. (Lebensmittel Zeitung)
