Swiss discount grocer Aldi Suisse is ending its Aldi Now grocery delivery service after four years, withdrawing from Bern, Bussigny, Geneva, Lucerne, Basel and Adliswil by the end of August, with greater Zurich expected to follow in September. The retailer said it was refocusing on its core discount business. Aldi Now launched in 2021 and had expanded across several Swiss cities, but the economics of grocery delivery remain challenging.
