Amazon has launched Join the chat, an AI-powered feature within Hear the highlights that lets US shoppers ask product questions by text or voice while listening to audio summaries in the Amazon Shopping app. The AI hosts pause to answer in real time using product details, customer reviews and other publicly available information, then resume the summary.
