Amazon has launched same-day delivery of fresh groceries in Germany, starting in selected postcode areas of Frankfurt, Cologne and Munich. It said customers can add fresh produce, meat, dairy and frozen goods to their regular Amazon orders via the website or app, choosing a four-hour or two-hour delivery window. Prime members get free four-hour delivery on orders over EUR29; non-members pay EUR9.99. Amazon plans to extend the service to more cities in the coming weeks. (Amazon)
