Amazon officially confirmed plans to invest over EUR16 billion in Germany in 2027, including EUR4.8 billion in AWS Cloud and AI infrastructure. Investment will also support logistics expansion, robotics research, satellite connectivity and entertainment production. Amazon expects to create 3,000 additional logistics jobs, adding to its existing 40,000 permanent employees. German SMEs generated over EUR20 billion in sales through Amazon in 2025. (Amazon)
