AWS has launched Agentic Shopping Assistant, allowing retailers to build AI-powered conversational shopping tools using technology from Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping. It includes architecture, starter code and expert support, with deployments in 60 days. Kate Spade has used it to create an AI Gift Concierge built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Anthropic’s Haiku 4.5 model.
