Amazon readies new logistics investment for Germany
US ecommerce group Amazon will invest more than EUR300 million to expand its Pforzheim logistics centre in Germany, doubling its workforce from over 1,000 to more than 2,000 by the end of 2029. The renovated warehouse will hold around 20 million small and medium-sized products and deploy hundreds of robots to move shelving.
