Amazon sellers plot ad boycott to protest new policy

Some Amazon sellers are planning a one-day boycott of the company’s advertising platform on 15 April, protesting a new policy under which ad costs are deducted directly from sales proceeds. It is being organised within Million Dollar Sellers, a community of more than 800 ecommerce entrepreneurs, with at least 100 members in support. Sellers said the change would strain cash flow as they also face delayed payouts, a new fuel surcharge and higher fulfilment costs. (Modern Retail)
