UK supermarket Asda has completed a GBP7.5 million rollout of 1.2 million electronic shelf labels across all 517 Express convenience stores. The technology, supplied with Vusion, Renovotec and HL Display, replaces more than 120,000 paper price-ticket changes each week and displays pricing, promotions, unit costs and allergen information. Asda is also trialling shelf-monitoring cameras in five larger outlets ahead of a wider rollout. (Asda)
