Asda sees signs of improvement despite Q1 2026 miss

Asda said Q1 2026 revenue excluding fuel fell 0.1% YoY to GBP5.3 billion, while LFL sales declined 0.9%. The supermarket said performance improved sequentially and volumes returned to growth in March. Online sales rose 2.8%, with George.com up 31.1%, while total digital sales reached GBP1.2 billion.
