Best Buy CEO to step down, successor announced
Best Buy said Jason Bonfig, currently chief customer, product and fulfilment officer, will succeed Corie Barry as CEO at the end of Q3 on 31 October this year. Barry will step down from the board at the same time and remain a strategic adviser for six months. Chair David Kenny said Bonfig was chosen after a process considering internal and external candidates. Bonfig said he would focus on growth and new opportunities. (Best Buy)
