Carrefour will launch Carrefour Mobile on 5 October, following E.Leclerc and Auchan into mobile telecoms ahead of Lidl. Three SIM-only plans will offer 20GB for EUR4.99 monthly, 100GB for EUR6.99 and 300GB for EUR9.99, without contracts or promotional expiry. The service will use Orange’s network through virtual operator Transatel and be available across Carrefour’s French hypermarkets, supermarkets and ecommerce site. (LSA)
