Carrefour plans four further Match Frais outlets following a successful initial trial in Faches-Thumesnil, near Lille. The fresh-food-focused format, designed to compete with Grand Frais, combines specialist counters, locally sourced products and prepared meals with everyday groceries. Openings are planned in Reims and Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, supporting Carrefour’s ambition to expand the Match network to 160 supermarkets by 2030. (LSA)
