Belgian retailer Colruyt Group will close two of its three unmanned Okay Direct stores in Ghent after concluding the format performs best alongside staffed outlets, improving replenishment and staff flexibility. The remaining Ghent location will continue trading. Okay Direct, Belgium’s largest unmanned 24-hour store concept, will expand to Brussels during the financial year ending March 2027, opening beside a new Okay supermarket in Etterbeek. (Colruyt Group)
