TEDi has closed 11 outlets in France in recent weeks as the German discounter streamlines its estate. The retailer, which entered France three years ago, said expansion would continue, with six openings planned in 2026 after 34 in 2025, taking its network to 82 outlets. Most closures involved former Max Plus sites acquired in 2023. TEDi France generated EUR36 million in revenue in FY2024/25 but posted an operating loss of EUR10 million. (Olivier Dauvers)
