DoorDash flags meagre orders from AI agents
DoorDash has received only “several hundred” orders from third-party AI agents such as Muse, Instinct and Fo, a fraction of the roughly 3 million deliveries it completes daily. CEO Tony Xu told analysts on the Q3 call that agent-based ordering remains a dynamic area but users still mostly order through DoorDash’s app. He said the company wants to learn about agentic use cases and could eventually advertise within agents. DoorDash runs its own text-to-order and chatbot tools. (TechCrunch)
