Edeka Nordwest restructuring sees headcount reduction

Edeka Nordwest plans to cut administrative roles as the newly merged region begins operations. Jobs will go at the Moers and Neumünster offices, with the former Edeka Nord headquarters more affected. The region, created from Edeka Rhein-Ruhr and Edeka Nord, launched on 1 July 2026 and is headquartered in Moers, serving around 1,550 outlets through more than 860 independent retailers.
