Google is upgrading Search with Gemini 3.5 Flash as the default model in AI Mode and launching its biggest Search box update in 25 years. The new AI-powered box supports text, images, files, videos and Chrome tabs, and will roll out where AI Mode is available. Google also announced Search agents for monitoring information, agentic booking and generative UI tools, while expanding Personal Intelligence across nearly 200 countries and territories in 98 languages.
