Lidl Belgium, the German discounter’s Belgian business, said it will launch Scan & Go through smartphones, confirming a phased rollout but giving no timing or outlet numbers. The system will follow Lidl Luxembourg, where the service started on 4 May 2026 in three stores. The move brings Lidl closer to Belgian rivals already using mobile self-scanning to speed up shopping and checkout. (Gondola)
