Lidl will introduce Czech account-to-account payment service Cvak across its Czech outlets, allowing shoppers to pay directly through participating banking apps without cards. Cvak is already used by more than 4,000 merchants, with access through Comgate extending it to around 16,000 ecommerce sites and monthly transactions reaching 250,000. The service currently supports Air Bank and Moneta Money Bank customers and is also available at Albert. (Mediaguru)
