Lidl Switzerland CEO Nicholas Pennanen will move to an international role at the Lidl Foundation in late summer 2026, becoming a divisional board member responsible for several countries. Pennanen, who has led the Swiss business for almost three years, oversaw record growth, market share gains, expansion and the launch of the Qualité Suisse private label. He will be succeeded in autumn 2026 by Michael Kunz, currently CEO of Lidl Austria. (Lidl)
