Migros offers support to Swiss agriculture

Swiss grocery group Migros is providing CHF2 million to support farmers facing financial hardship from prolonged drought. The funding, administered through the Bucher Gossweiler Foundation in coordination with the Swiss Farmers’ Union, will target businesses affected by crop failures, lower feed yields and higher costs. Migros said the initiative complements longer-term investment aimed at strengthening domestic agriculture and maintaining Swiss sourcing across its supply chain. (Migros)
