Morrisons CEO claims almost GPB1 billion in AI savings

Morrisons said AI and automation have helped deliver GBP942 million of savings, close to its GBP1 billion target, after a further GBP48 million was cut in Q2. The grocer has used tools including Google Cloud’s Gemini-powered Product Finder and a digital supply-chain twin, alongside broader efficiency measures.
