German grocery retailer Rewe told suppliers it sees further growth opportunities despite a challenging economic environment. At a supplier meeting attended by around 200 industry representatives, purchasing director Hans-Jürgen Moog emphasised cooperation with branded manufacturers and described himself as a “friend of brands”.
