Rewe has ended a planned six-month trial of autonomous delivery robots in Hamburg-Barmbek, reporting positive results. The Starship robots, launched in October 2025, covered a four-figure kilometre distance and delivered a similarly high number of orders. Rewe Region North chair Andreas Persigehl said the pilot showed autonomous delivery can work in everyday use and provided insights for future services. (Lebensmittel Praxis)
