SPAR has entered North Macedonia after SPAR International granted Viva Fresh Group a licence to operate the brand. The launch included an INTERSPAR hypermarket in Skopje and a second SPAR supermarket in the city. The INTERSPAR outlet has more than 16,000 products, around 400 own-brand items and 70 employees. Viva Fresh, which bought former retail chain Kit Go in 2022, said 65 stores will trade under the SPAR brand within 12 months. (SPAR International)
