UK grocer Tesco has launched Tesco Finest Just x Ingredients, a range of more than 20 products made using no more than five ingredients. Spanning ready meals, bakery, dairy and cupboard staples, the range includes lasagne, chicken curry and sourdough pizza. Tesco said the launch responds to growing demand for simpler recipes and greater transparency around food ingredients, while retaining the premium positioning of its Finest private-label brand.
