Walmart and Albertsons drawn into California AI fuel pricing case
Walmart and Albertsons are among fuel retailers facing a proposed class action in California alleging they used AI-powered pricing software from Kalibrate to coordinate petrol prices and inflate costs. The lawsuit claims drivers paid up to 30 cents more per gallon in affected areas, with the companies allegedly operating more than 1,700 filling stations statewide.
