Walmart will introduce Tap to Pay at selected Walmart and Sam’s Club outlets from 24 August, with rollout across all US stores and clubs by end-2026 and fuel stations by mid-2027. Customers will be able to use eligible contactless cards, phones and smartwatches including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Walmart, Sam’s Club and OnePay cards can also be added to digital wallets, complementing Walmart Pay and Sam’s Club Scan & Go. (Walmart)
