Walmart claims fuel discounts are driving loyalty uptake

Walmart said its Walmart+ fuel discount is strengthening loyalty, with members using the USD98-a-year subscription more often for USD0.10-per-gallon savings at over 13,000 fuel sites. CFO John Rainey said Q1 membership-fee revenue reached a new high, with sign-ups accelerating.
