Walmart, Target see uplift around Prime Day event

US retailers Target and Walmart recorded higher store traffic during Amazon’s Prime Day, according to Placer.ai. Target visits rose 16.3% against its year-to-date day-of-week average on the first day, while Walmart gained 4.7%.
